How to Register on e-District Delhi to be Able to Apply for Different Certificates & Services

To be able to apply for certificates and services available in the e-district Delhi for the residents of Delhi, it is required to first register online on the portal of district Delhi.To complete the registration process, follow the steps provided below:

How to Register on e-District Delhi

  • Then, click on the “Register if you are a new user” option, available at the bottom left, and click on it.

  • Click on the “Select Document Type” option, a dropdown menu will open. Here, choose the “Aadhaar Card” option.
  • Now, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the “Document number” field.
  • Type in the captcha code displayed on the screen.
  • Tick the declaration box, and enter the captcha code.
  • Click on the “Continue” button. This will take you to the main registration form.

The registration form will now be displayed on your screen. Fill in the details carefully which includes:

  • Name of the Applicant 
  • Gender
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Spouse Name
  • Date of Birth

How to Register on e-District Delhi

Present Residential Address:

  • House No.
  • Street Name/No.
  • Sub Locality
  • Whether Residing in Delhi or Other State
  • Residential Locality (select from dropdown)

After entering all the details, enter the Captcha Code, and then click on the Continue to Register button.

  • Then, you will get an access code and password on the mobile number you provided in the registration form.
  • Enter the Access Code and Password.
  • Enter the captcha code.
  • Then, click on Complete Registration.

Note: You must complete the registration process within 72 hours of receiving the access code and password. Here’s how:

  • Return to the e-District Delhi website.
  • Here, again click on “New Users”.
  • Enter your registered Aadhaar number.
  • Then, enter the access code and password you received.
  • Enter the captcha code displayed.
  • Finally, click on “Complete Registration”.
  • Your registration process is now completed and now you are ready to apply for the services offered on the e-district portal.

E-District Delhi Login: Apply for Services

To get access to the several services available on the e-District website, one is required to first register and then login to the official portal. After registration, follow the steps provided below to login to e-District login:

  • First, visit the official website of the e-District portal edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in
  • From the menu section, click on Citizen’s Corner.
  • A drop down menu will then appear, from here, click on Login & Apply option.
  • Now, enter your User ID and Password.
  • Then enter the Captcha Code.
  • Finally hit the Login button.

  • After following these steps, you will have access to the dashboard and be able to take advantage of all the services available.

You’ll now see an option Select Department“, click on it and a dropdown menu will open. From the menu, choose the appropriate department from the following options:

  • Now, enter Your Application Number
  • Then, enter your Applicant Name.
  • Enter the Captcha Code provided.
  • After filling in all the required information, click on the “Submit” button.

E-District Delhi: Download Certificates Online

Applicants can conveniently access their e-district certificates at any time by downloading them through the official online portal after the certificates have been digitally issued. To download the E-District Delhi Certificates issued by different departments online, follow the steps provided below:

  • Visit e-district portal https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/
  • On the mainpage, locate and click on the Download option, available in the menu bar.
  • A dropdown list will open. From the list, select the “Issued Certificate (For Certificate Holders Only)” option.

  • Then, choose from the Applied For area.
  • Now, enter your Enter Application/Certificate No.

  • Finally, click on the Continue button.
